PRESS VESNA DIARY – 2026 💙💛 Day 3

Participants of the International Media Festival and Competition “PressSpring on the Dnipro Slopes” visited the National Museum-Reserve of Ukrainian Military Valor, exploring the history of the 1943 Battle for Kyiv during World War II alongside documented materials from the ongoing russian-Ukrainian war.

A central highlight of the excursion was the #AngelsOfVictory Memorial Complex, established at the site of the historic Battle for Moshchun. In September 2024, the Ukrainian government officially added this location to the State Register of Immovable Monuments as a site of national importance.

The “Battle for Moshchun” memorial site is more than a symbol of resistance — it is a powerful lesson for future generations. Every visitor has the opportunity not only to learn about key moments in Ukraine’s modern history, but also to feel the courage and determination of those who defended the country during its most difficult times.
