PressSpring in Action 🌈

A collection titled “War Diaries. Moschun. Angels of Victory”, written by students and teachers of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, was presented on the air of Army FM.

“‘War Diaries. Moschun. Angels of Victory’ is the second book in the ‘War Diaries’ series,” said Nadiia Illiuk, head of the Information and Creative Agency "YUN-PRESS" of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth. “In 2023, we were invited to a ceremony honoring the memory of the heroes who fell in Moschun.”

The young media creators and educators were deeply moved by the events that took place in February–March 2022, just 15 kilometers from the capital.

In Moschun, we saw not only a battlefield but also met the relatives of the fallen who had also come for the anniversary. They asked us to write about the heroes so that their sacrifice would not be forgotten. Inspired by this place and those encounters, we began recording their stories… The collection features life portraits of 61 heroes who died in the forests of Moschun, defending the approaches to Kyiv. This is our donation to Victory!

The book presentation and the handing out of author copies to young media creators will take place during the International Media Festival-Competition "PressSpring on the Dnieper Slopes" at the memorial "Angels of Victory" — a cultural heritage site "Battlefield: The Battle for Moschun," which has been included in the Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Kyiv Region.
